Brian D. Marriott M.D.

Dr. Brian Marriott was born in Nebraska and was raised moving around in an Air Force family. He settled down in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from Wright State University with a degree in biomedical engineering. He went to medical school at Ohio State University, but admits that he never attended an OSU football game. After medical school he went to Carilion Family Practice Residency in Roanoke, Virginia. After residency he went on active duty in the Air Force and did assignments in Tokyo, Japan and Colorado Springs. He decided it was time to settle down, so moved to Newburyport in the fall of 2004. He currently is practicing medicine at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Marriott is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Massachusetts Medical Society, and the Christian Medical & Dental Associations.

Dr. Marriott enjoys the full spectrum of family practice from newborn to geriatric care. Special interests are health maintenance visits for all ages, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and non-insulin dependent diabetes. He is married, has three young children, and enjoys outdoor activities, computers, and reading.
